Usual fixes to start with:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is strong and fast enough. If your speed is very poor, you could try using a 3G or 4G connection.
- Try using a different device if you own one.
- Make sure that you are on the latest version of your browser by updating your software.
- Try using an alternative web browser, i.e. Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
If the above doesn't help, you could:
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the page (see below).
- Try using your browser in private or incognito mode (see below).
Clearing your cache
To clear your cache on an iPhone:
To do this, please go to settings > “safari” > “Clear History and Website data” OR within Safari, click history (the book icon at the bottom of the screen) and click clear.
To clear your cache on an Android:
To do this, please go to Chrome app > “History” > “Clear Browsing Data” > At the top, choose a time range, to delete everything select “All Time” > Next to “Cookies and site data” and “Cached images and files” please check the boxes > Tap “CLEAR DATA”.
Private Browsing
To access Private Browsing on an iPhone:
Open Safari > Bottom right of screen click the 2 square icons that are overlapping > Click “PRIVATE” on bottom left of screen. You are now in Private mode and can input the URL or search internet normally on here.
To access Private Browsing on an Android:
Open Google Chrome > Click on the “G” icon > Top left of the screen click on your personal Google Account (Your Initial) > Click “New Chrome Incognito Tab” > Click “Continue” > You are now in Private mode and can input the URL or search the internet normally on here.
